As we bid Patricia farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Patricia is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jerry Blakey; her daughter Karen B. Fisher; her sister Nancy B. Lawrence; and her parents, Lester Benedict and Jean Benedict.
She is survived by: her children, David Blakey of Cornwall Bridge and Lori B. Welles (David G. Welles) of West Cornwall; her granddaughter Melissa Root; her great grandchild Devyn Root of Terryville, CT; and her niece Pam B. Hart (Doug) of Belencia, CA..
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Cornwall Volunteer Fire Department and EMS, UCC CT, or to the Cornwall Food and Fuel fund.
