We bid farewell to Scott Drew Thornton of Sharon, Connecticut, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 18, 2025 at the age of 68. Scott touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his father Charles J. Thornton, Jr.; and his brother Gary Thornton. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Carlson Thornton; his mother Jeanne Coddington Thornton Schwager of Wassaic, NY.; his daughters, Sawyer Thornton Haab (Jeffrey Haab) of Salisbury, CT and Paxton Thornton (Scot Leith) of Kent, CT.; his grandsons, Carter Haab, Bryson, Braxton Haab and Luka Leith; and his brothers, Charles Thornton (Marcia Judson) of Myrtle Beach, SC, David Thornton (Janet Davidson) of Mattituck, NY and Douglas Thornton (Julie Harbold) of Bryan, TX.. He is also survived by his wife, daughters, sons-in-law, grandsons, and mother.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hufcut Funeral Home (3159 NY-22, Dover Plains, NY 12522).
