She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Peter Devitt and Dorothea Devitt. She is survived by: her siblings, Peter Devitt (Susann) and Dorita Devitt; and her nieces, Stacey Devitt (Bill), Kerry Devitt and Janel Heck (Steve). She is also survived by numerous cousins as well as great-nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital—a cause close to Sheila's heart.
