She was predeceased by: her parents, Carmen Martínez Padrón (Sandín) and Lino Padrón Rivera. She is survived by: her husband Burton Proffitt; her sisters, Carmen and Bruni; her children, Robert, Craig and Pilar; and her grandchildren, Isabel, Carmen, Grace, Ellis, Sam, Amelia and Pablo.
