Barbara leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Barbara’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Barbara will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Lasagna and Helen Lasagna (Vickers); and her sister Mary Lou Canning. She is survived by: her children, Patrick M. Doherty (Tamara) of Southbury, Susan Anderson (Scott) of Wallingford, VT, Colleen Gilberson (Greg) of Trumbull and Laurie Fusco (Richard) of Shelton; and her brother John Lasna (Louise) of Westford, MA. She is also survived by her 9 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 17 nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Spear-Miller Funeral Home (39 S Benson Rd, Fairfield, CT 06824). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony of Padua Church (149 S Pine Creek Rd, Fairfield, CT 06824).
