Carol Ann Babina Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 24, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Carol Ann Babina of Shelton, Connecticut. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Joseph Petito and Elena Petito (Baranello). She is survived by: her husband John Babina Jr. of Shelton, CT; her son John III; her daughter-in-law Robyn; her grandsons, Jay and Alex Babina; her sister Kathleen Penfield (Petito); and her siblings-in-law, Edward Jay Penfield, Ada Sala (Charles), Dan Babina (Tricia) and David Babina (Christine). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and dear friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Spadaccino and Leo P. Gallagher & Son Community Funeral Home (315 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe, CT 06468). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Saint Jude's Parish (707 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe, CT 06468). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at the St. John's Cemetery (500 Moose Hill Rd, Monroe, CT 06468).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to WMNR Fine Arts Radio in Monroe, CT or to the National M.S. Society.
