It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Cecelia Rose DeFranzo of Shelton, Connecticut, born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, who passed away on August 1, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Raphael Canale and Concetta Canale (Mobilio); her husband Angelo Michael DeFranzo; her son Michael Angelo DeFranzo; and her brothers, Joseph and Salvatore Canale.

She is survived by : her children, Linda Lupulio (John) of Naugatuck, Joseph DeFranzo (Jerrilyn) of Seymour, Terry Varrone (John) of Southington and Michele Dias of Naugatuck; her grandchildren, Melissa Morizet (Darren), Michael DeFranzo (Michelle), Kristen Lupulio (Val Tanchyn), Lauren Lupulio, Mia Monterio (Stevie), Briana Dias, Alexa Dias, Alex DeFranzo, John Varrone (Jessica), Amanda McStravick (Kyle) and Tyler Varrone; her great grandchildren, Lucas, Austin, Dylan, Michael, Sofia, Sage, Mason and Grayson; and her close friend Mildred Rea of Bridgeport.
