She was predeceased by: her parents, John Kmiec and Barbara Artymowska Kmiec; her husband Thaddeus Piaty; her daughter Barbara Piaty; and her brother Frank Pabis.
She is survived by: her children, Anthony Piaty of Shelton, Kristine Lucker (Brian) of Monroe, Joseph Leniart (Samran) of Framingham, MA and Susan Leniart (Matt) of Shelton; and her granddaughter Abigail Lucker of Monroe.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Spadaccino & Leo P. Gallagher & Son Community Funeral Home (315 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe, CT 06468). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Jude Catholic Church (707 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe, CT 06468).
