She was predeceased by: her parent Kanchanlal Desai; and her brother Bharat (Kokilaben). She is survived by: her parent Kantaben Desai (Parikh); her husband Ramesh Desai; her son Dr. Nihar R. Desai (Vrunda Desai); her grandchildren, Rohan, Keshav, Sapan and Arya Laxmi; her sister Malini; her brother-in-law Madhubhai; and her nephew Mohit. She is also survived by her family, friends, and grandchildren.
