With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Dolores Smith of Shelton, Connecticut, born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Dolores left this world on December 5, 2025 at the age of 86, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald L. Smith; and her parents, Joseph Kafara and Mary Kafara. She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Smith of Shelton, Gregory Smith (Dana) of Orange and Sharon Talbott (William) of Fort Collins, Colorado.; her grandchildren, James Smith, Jacob Smith (Victoria), Alec Smith and Meghan Smith; and her great grandchild Cameron Smith. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchild.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Galello-Luchansky Funeral & Cremation Services (2220 Main St, Stratford, CT 06615). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Joseph's National Church (1300 Stratford Rd, Stratford, CT 06614). A burial will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at the St. Joseph's Cemetery (1300 Stratford Rd, Stratford, CT 06614).
