He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Anne Robinson Schemear (Schemear); and his stepfather John Schmear. He is survived by: his wife Amy Bertasso Smith; his children, Samantha Smith Stickney, Michael and Shawn; his father Donald E. Smith Jr.; and his sisters, Debbie Smith Dionne, Kelly Smith Cameron and Amanda Smith. He is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.
