He is survived by: his father Edward Roland Sylvia; his sister Shelley Sylvia Tomey (Mark) of Shelton; his uncle Robert; his aunt Mary Sylvia; his close friend Pamela Matto; his friend Ellie Letsch; his close friends, Fred Bonadio, Ralph Bonadio and Vinny Esposito; his cousins, Tim Driscoll, Andrea Ronkese, Bobby Sylvia (Jen) and Justin Sylvia (Liz); his nieces and nephews, Schuyler, Ryan and Camryn; and his uncle Lego.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Housatonic Community College Foundation-Early Childhood Laboratory Preschool so children who may not otherwise be able to attend preschool may have access to an enriching and nurturing early learning environment.
