She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Simmon and Ann Petrovich Simmon; her sister Virginia "Ginny"; her brother-in-law Alfred "Al" Tortora; Robert.
She is survived by: her sons, Richard (Beverly) of Shelton, Gary (Karen) of Derby, Donald (Anne) of Sarasota, FL and Steven (Anne) of North Billerica, MA.; her grandchildren, Bryan, Matthew (Jen), Michael, Michelle, Nicholas, Halle, Scott, Shawn and Christian; her great grandchildren, Anabelle, Amery, Garhett, Riley, Emma, Harley and Lily; Russell (Colleen), James, Chick (Sheila), Alfred (Nancy), William and Thomas. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, those who are so inclined are encouraged to make memorial donations to Center Stage Theater where she enjoyed many performances or St. Vincent de Paul Society.
