Elizabeth Hoffman Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth Hoffman of Shelton, Connecticut, who passed away on February 19, 2026 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Elizabeth may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Elizabeth touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband John N. Hoffman, Jr.; and her parents, Elizabeth Ultes (Bruce) and William Ultes. She is survived by: her son Daniel K. Chapman III; her daughter-in-law Hitomi Kojima Chapman; and her granddaughters, Emily Kojima Chapman and Alice Chapman Kojima-Clarke.
