With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ethel Mae Shaw of Shelton, Connecticut, who passed away on April 30, 2022 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Bernard Shaw; and her siblings, Robert Murhamer, William Murhamer, Rachel Banks, Betty Walker Webb and Gladys Murhamer.

She is survived by: her children, Ellen Shaw Day (late Walter), Bernard James Shaw (Marilyn), Patricia Shaw Clement (Richard) and Diane Shaw Rooney. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren.

The family requests that memorial contributions may be made to Sentara Hospice Services (Chesapeake) 535 Independence Pkwy (Suite 500), Chesapeake, VA 23320.
