He was predeceased by: his mother-in-law Maria Alice Vaz. He is survived by: his wife Monica Vaz; his parents, Aristides Teixeira and Maria Ines Teixeira of Bridgeport; and his father-in-law Raul Vaz (Teresa) of Shelton.
