We announce the death of Gary Marino of Shelton, Connecticut, who passed away on October 2, 2026, at the age of 68. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thelma Marino and Don Marino; his siblings, Jaimie Marino and Alisa Marino; and his nephews, Kristopher Marino and Raul Sean Calderon.
He is survived by: his close friend Kathleen Marino; his son Brian Garrett (Nicole); his grandchildren, Grayson, Korynne, Clayton, Jaxon Garrett and Nicholas Capacete-Marino; his great grandchild Link Garrett; his siblings, Dena Carmona (late Roger Carmona), Terri L. Marino, Jonni Gayle Messenger (Kenneth) and Michael Marino (Maria); Ashley Marino. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Riverview Funeral Home (390 River Rd, Shelton, CT 06484). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 6:45 PM at the same location.
The family requests that memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Shelton Animal Shelter, 11 Brewster Lane, Shelton CT 06484.
