He is survived by: his close friend Ronald West; his son Jon Byron; his daughter-in-law Janet Byron; his daughter Kathleen L. Pollard; his son-in-law Steve Pollard; his caregiver Joyann Smith of Woodbury, CT.; and his granddaughter Jeanette Dubicki. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
