He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Schoemburg Dunn; his children, Kathleen Surdan (Ken) of Acton, MA, Maureen Kmetz of Shelton, CT, Tricia Dunn of San Diego, CA and Kevin Dunn of Waterbury, CT; his grandchildren, Kayla Gomes (Dave), Kyle Kmetz, Janelle Kmetz, Mia Kmetz, Jackie Surdan (Mike Kordosky), Michelle Surdan, Alex Surdan, Max Grossbard, Nicole Grossbard and Sophia Grossbard; his great grandchildren, Audrey Gomes and Calvin Gomes; and his nieces, Christine Dodd and Sarah Ekern.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home (419 White Plains Rd, Trumbull, CT 06611). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Theresa Church (5301 Main St, Trumbull, CT 06611). A burial will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 12:15 PM at the St. Guilford Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Theresa Church.
