Harold leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Harold’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Harold will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Batchelor and Emily Batchelor (D'Aiuto); and his sister Shirley Terlizzi. He is survived by: his wife Mildred Batchelor (Huydic); his sons, John Batchelor (Dorothy (Munsie)) of West Haven and Shawn Batchelor (Jeffrey Escher) of Clarksburg; and his grandchildren, Donny Perkins (Mel), Ariana and Jackson Escher-Batchelor. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Adzima Funeral Home (50 Paradise Green Pl, Stratford, CT 06614). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Lawrence Church (505 Shelton Ave, Shelton, CT 06484). A graveside service was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the Lawn Cemetery South.
