Helen Wapiennik Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Wapiennik of Shelton, Connecticut, who passed away on December 18, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Tomasiewicz and Julia Tomasiewicz (Wiocek); and her siblings, Henry Tomasiewicz (Helena), Walter Tomasiewicz (Helen) and Janina Kolody (Dennis).

She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Barbara Raschke (David), Isabelle Regan (Gary), Marie Wern (Michael), Henry Tomasiewicz (Kerrie), Linda Pritchard (Michael) and Gail Harris. She is also survived by several great nieces and nephews; and extended family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
