It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene McNeil (Shelton, Connecticut), born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, who passed away on December 1, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Francis R. McNeil, Sr.; her parents, Joseph Bennett and Catherine Bennett (Murphy); her siblings, Joseph, Michael, Charles, William, John (Connie Bennett), Catherine Violante (Kal) and Barbara Ciotti; and her son-in-law Eli Diaz.
She is survived by: her children, Sharyn Diaz, Francis McNeil Jr. (Rody), Kevin McNeil (Danielle), Doreen Salvagno (Ken) and Sally Ramponi; her grandchildren, Keith Rafail (Debra), Betsy Rafail (Justin Sangani), Michael Rafail, Kate McNeil (Evan Beller), Daniel Salvagno (Jasmine), Carly Price (Andrew) and Serena Ramponi; her great grandchildren, Dominic Rafail, Joshua, Bryan Rafail, Giuliana, Mia DonAroma, Isaiah, Joseph, Benjamin, Alina Salvagno, Sage Price and Kylie Ramponi; and her sister Joan Gunther.
