It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Joseph Schilkowski Sr. of Shelton, Connecticut, born in Derby, Connecticut, who passed away on July 17, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto F. Schilkowski, Sr. and Mary Schilkowski (Coppola); his brother Otto F. Schilkowski, Jr.; and his pet Rascal. He is survived by: his wife Cindy (Wilson); his children, James J. Schilkowski, Jr. (Paige), Andrew Schilkowski, Raechel Vargas (George) and Stephen Schilkowski (Jenna); his grandsons, Nathan, Joseph, Zachary, Gabriel, Isaac Vargas, Maxwell and Bennett Schilkowski; his siblings, Mary Lou Kilmovich, Elizabeth Domizio, Helene Schilkowski and John Schilkowski; and his sister-in-law Helen Schilkowski. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins.
