He was predeceased by: his father Robert F. Schumacher; his siblings, Michael J. Schumacher and Mary Kathryn Schumacher; his godson Benjamin M. Schumacher; and his great-niece Rylee N. Schumacher.
He is survived by: his mother Phyllis Schumacher (Smith) of Iowa Falls; his uncle Big Jim; his wife Margaret of Shelton, CT; his siblings, Deb McGarry (Craig) of Omaha, NE, Pat Schumacher (Linda) of Ainsworth, NE, Kris Schumacher of Iowa Falls, Cindy Schumacher of Omaha, NE, Beth Gronewold (Doug) of Ackley, Anne Schumacher of Des Moines, Steve Schumacher (Mary) of Ackley, Bob Schumacher (Glenda) of Juniata, NE, Joe Schumacher (Nancy) of Windsor, CO, Paul Schumacher of Mason City, Margaret Schumacher of Omaha, NE and Martha Lemar of Omaha, NE; his parents-in-law, Frank and Grace Lee; his siblings-in-law, Elizabeth Lee and Stewart (Beverly Wu); and his cousin Jeffrey Tsai. He is also survived by 47 nieces and nephews; 84 great- nieces and nephews, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and close family and friends.
The Pandemic diminished the size of their wedding but not the depth of their love.
In lieu of flowers they would like any memorials to go to the Creighton University ILAC Program.
