Jean Elizabeth Scianna Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Elizabeth Scianna of Shelton, Connecticut, born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, who passed away on March 20, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John Scianna; her grandson Eric Mahoney; her siblings, Stanley, John, Frank Eckert, Anna Cwalina and Sophie Krushinski; and her son-in-law Larry Piroscafo.
She is survived by: her children, Roberta Piroscafo, Donna Mahoney (Thomas), Christine Scianna, Kathleen Hammond (Frederick), Lori Scianna and Timothy Scianna; her grandchildren, Gina Piroscafo, Julie Piroscafo-Powers (Devon), Donato Piroscafo (Jamie Botteon), Lauren Piroscafo, Brendan Mahoney (Amanda Rasmussen), Darren Mahoney (Michelle Cincunegui), Tyler Hammond, Olivia Hammond, Alexa Ruggiero (Richard) and Lindsay Scianna; and her great grandchildren, Lucia Piroscafo, Ariah Mahoney and Scarlett Ruggiero. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
