She was predeceased by: her parents, George Balas and Liboria Russo Balas; her father-in-law Angelo (Theresa Bucci); and her brothers-in-law, Dominic Bucci (Natalie) and Richard Strona.
She is survived by: her husband John; her children, Karen Bucci, Anthony Bucci (Catherine), Scott Bucci (Denise) and Christopher Bucci (Lori); her grandchildren, Amanda Steffen (John), Matthew Bucci, Victoria Bauer (Christian), Jennifer Bucci, John Bucci and Alexandra Bucci (Justin Greene); her sister Doris Alexander; her sisters-in-law, Anna Johnson (Robert), Marie Strona and Terry Maklari (Steve); and her nephews, Ed, Tom (Susan), Jackie (Amy), Mark, Leslie and Chase (Marnie).
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Adzima Funeral Home (50 Paradise Green Pl, Stratford, CT 06614). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, May 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. John's Cemetery (2610 Nichols Ave, Stratford, CT 06614).
