She was predeceased by: her significant other Robert E. Hellauer, Sr.; her parents, Jerry and Josephine Berta (Speck); and her brother Gerald F. Berta. She is survived by: her children, Robert E. Hellauer, Jr. (Marianne) and Gretchen Hellauer Magel (Thomas); her grandchildren, Dr. Robert E. Hellauer III (Taryn), Matthew Douglas Hellauer (Samantha), Andrew Thomas Magel and Christian James Magel; and her great grandchild Miles Jacob Hellauer. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Riverview Funeral Home (390 River Rd, Shelton, CT 06484). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Margaret Mary Church (50 Donovan Ln, Shelton, CT 06484).
