She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph DiBiase and Jennie DiBiase; and her siblings, Michael DiBiase and Virginia Hoagland. She is survived by: her sister Jeanette DeWitz; her husband Jim; her children, James Farnen (Lisa) of Westport, Wendy Price (Daniel) of Woodbridge and Brian Farnen (Kimberly) of Fairfield; and her grandchildren, Katie, Jimmy, Michael, Jack, Hannah, Andrew, Ella and Chad.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Adzima Funeral Home (50 Paradise Green Pl, Stratford, CT 06614). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Lawrence Church (505 Shelton Ave, Shelton, CT 06484). A burial was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the Huntington Lawn Cemetery East (40 Lane St, Shelton, CT 06484).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in JoAnn's memory to Smilow Cancer Hospital in North Haven or to the Stratford Visiting Nurse Association.
