He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Irene Plaskon DeFilippo; his parents, Anna and Vincent DeFilippo; his children, Gary DeFilippo (Charlene) and Diana McNeil (Chad); his grandchildren, Erica (Mike), Christina (Raja), Thomas (Ashley) and Gary (Anita); his great grandchildren, Charlie, Leo, Layla and Savannah; his sister Martha Bova; his sisters-in-law, Dorothy Dipaulo (Dominic) and Ann Defilippo; and his brothers, Michael, Louis, Paul, Salvatore and Vincent. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
