We announce the death of Leon Leung of Shelton, Connecticut, born in Derby, Connecticut, who passed away on September 4, 2026, at the age of 76. Leon will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Leon will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Leon will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Leon’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Chin Leung; and his parent Wing Dep Leung. He is survived by: his children, Jonathan Leung and Jasmine Leung (Rob Parfitt); and his sisters, Evelyn Lilly, Helen Lee and Corinna Leung. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Huntington Lawn Cemetery (40 Lane St, Shelton, CT 06484).
