She was predeceased by: her husband Richard S. Chapman, Jr.; and her parents, William David and Evelyn Hurd (Hainsworth). She is survived by: her sons, Christopher Chapman (Emily), Craig Chapman and Brett Chapman (Lindsay); her grandchildren, Camila, Kaelin and Evelyn; and her siblings, David Hurd (Karen), Brian Hurd (Kim) and Brenda Zaprzalka (Carole Sylvester). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Huntington United Methodist Church (338 Walnut Tree Hill Rd, Shelton, CT 06484).
