With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marie M. Speer of Shelton, Connecticut, born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, who passed away on December 10, 2023 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Peter T. Brady and Catherine Cullinan; her husband Robert J. Speer; and her sister Katherine E. Brady. She is survived by : her children, Mary Kate Stanczyk (Mark) of Syracuse, NY, Michael (Dalinda Stanczyk), Patrick Stanczyk (James), Daniel (Jenna Stanczyk), Maura (Nick Schuetter), Elizabeth (Daniel McKeever) and Robert Speer of Fairfield; her grandchildren, Ryan, Courtney Carey, Emma, James and Genevieve Speer; her daughter Eileen Meehan (Skip) of Stratford; her grandchildren, Colin, Meg Meehan, Kate and Jake Griswold; her son Timothy Speer (Maggie) of Milford; her grandsons, Tim Jr. and John; and her great grandchildren, Devon, Thomas Stanczyk, Shea, Rory Stanczyk, Valerie, Ceci, Nate, Colin Schuetter, Hazel, Rusty, Lacey McKeever, Kayleigh Carey, Maeve, Brynn Meehan, Rosie and Rhett Griswold.
