He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred H. Smith and Marion Smith (Sargent); his sister Marilyn Smith; and his siblings-in-law, Gail Moran Hosny and James Olcese.
He is survived by: his wife Donnalee J. Smith (Moran); his sons, Paul Smith (Megan) and Brian Smith; his granddaughters, Jaclyn, Kasey and Emma; and his siblings-in-law, Deborah Moran Olcese, William Moran (Patricia), Robert Moran (Kelly) and Dr. Ayman Hosny. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
