He is survived by: his wife Susan Eileen Castelot (Neal); his sons, Joseph Castelot (Megan), Robert Castelot (Deborah) and James Castelot (Brianna); his grandchildren, Matthew, Alexander, Kaylee, Brayden, Cameron and Lilly; his siblings, William Castelot, Jr. and Judith Ferreira (Daniel); his nephews, Matthew Ferreira, Daniel Ferreira, Andrew Ferreira, William Castelot III and Benjamin Castelot; his niece Marilyn Menning; his mother-in-law Jean Casertano; his sister-in-law Donna Neal; and his caregiver Rick.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:15 PM at the Riverview Funeral Home (390 River Rd, Shelton, CT 06484). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the St. Lawrence Church (505 Shelton Ave, Shelton, CT 06484).

At the request of the family, memorial contributions are encouraged to the APDA Connecticut Chapter to support the fight against Parkinson's disease.
