Richard Conklin Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on March 20, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Richard Conklin of Shelton, Connecticut, born in West Haven, Connecticut. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his siblings, Leonard Conklin, William Conklin, Doris Brady and Rosemary Conklin; his parents-in-law, Gary and Pauline Scovill; and his former wife Mary (Middendorf).

He is survived by: his wife Darleen Conklin (Scovill); his children, Sara Conklin (Michael Podemski) and Joshua Conklin (Selina); his grandsons, Gavin, Jacob and Connor; his sibling Thomas Conklin (Maryanne); his sibling-in-law Ora Conklin; and his children, Robert Conklin (Janette), Richard Conklin (Diana) and Wendy Laden (Jan Jurgielewicz). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and in-laws.

Visitors are required to wear masks and social distance as they walk through, pay their respects and exit without lingering to ensure all guests can come through. His funeral service will be private.
