He was predeceased by: his wife Isabel "Cuddle" Millward; his parents, William Millward and Margaret Millward (Horner); his son Peter; and his siblings, Joan, Bill and Bob.
He is survived by: his sons, Richard S. Millward Jr. of Illinois and James R. Millward (Maureen) of Stratford; his grandchildren, Nicole McManus (Brian), Trevor Millward (Meghan) and Brian Valeriano; his great grandchild Hallie McManus; and his siblings, Jolaine, Donna, Carl, Jane, Daphne and Debbie. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
