It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Russell Lesiw (Shelton, Connecticut), who passed away on October 31, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Lesiw and Mary Lesiw of Kolokolyn, Ukraine.; his wife Patricia; his brother George; and his daughter Darlene.
He is survived by: his children, Daniel (Kimberly) of Norton, MA and Doreen; his grandson Samuel of Pottstown, PA; his son Paul (Lynne) of Monroe, CT.; and his grandchildren, Jesse of Naugatuck, CT, Alexandra of Norton, MA, Adam of Boston, MA and Jonah of Monroe, CT.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Shelton (178 Leavenworth Rd, Shelton, CT 06484). A memorial service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM.
