He was predeceased by: his father Martin Dempsey; and his grandparents, John and Eleanor Dempsey. He is survived by: his wife Amanda Eaton Dempsey; his mother Laura Dempsey (Simon); his children, Dylan, Gunner, Ryan Dempsey II and Kane; his brothers, Sean and Martin Dempsey; his grandmother Gloria Simon; his aunt Patricia Phelan (David); his uncles, James Simon, Brian Dempsey and John Dempsey (Laurie); Raymond Gerte.

Visitors are asked to wear masks and social distance as they walk through, pay their respects and exit without lingering to ensure all guests can come through.
