It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sally Jennings Shaffner Reed of Shelton, Connecticut, who passed away on April 26, 2026, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph M. Shaffner and Dorothy Jennings; her husband David Reed; her brother Wesley Shaffner; and her niece Jennifer Shaffner.

She is survived by: her sons, David Curtiss Reed (Karen) and Scott Wesley Reed (Jillian); her grandchildren, Elizabeth, Lily, Emma and Allison; her sister-in-law Joan Shaffner; and her nieces, Lindsey Shaffner and Erin Shaffner.
