He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Gorlo Sr. and Mary Gorlo Cannuzzio (Oleyar); his wife Joan Ann Anderson Gorlo; his son William Joseph (Baby Billy); his siblings, Rosemarie Bodnar and John Gorlo (Little John); and his stepfather John Cannuzzio (Gans).

He is survived by: his girlfriend Ruth Fririhio of Shelton; his children, Ronald Gorlo of Bethany, Jo-Ann Gorlo-Bazata (Jerry) of Ogunquit Maine and Brian Gorlo (Jo-Ann) of Stratford; his granddaughters, Alison Gorlo, Katherine Ann Gorlo, Gracie Lynne Gorlo and Isabella Maria Bazata; his great grandchild Tristan Lee Gorlo; and his siblings, Donald Gorlo of Stratford and Sandra Malashchuk (Michael) of Florida. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
