It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stephanie Fitol of Shelton, Connecticut, who passed away on June 16, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Stephanie may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph and Mary Tracz; and her brothers, Benny, Bronco, Pete and John Tracz.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael A. Fitol, Jr. (Debbie) and Stephen Fitol (Trish); and her grandchildren, Michael P. Fitol and Shayne Fitol. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home (253 Elizabeth St, Derby, CT 06418). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Michael Church (75 Derby Ave, Derby, CT 06418). A burial will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Michael Cemetery (28 Silver Hill Rd, Ansonia, CT 06401).
