Steven Hackett Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steven Hackett of Shelton, Connecticut, who passed away on July 20, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Steven may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his mother Barbara Joy Hackett. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Peterson; his father Russell Hackett; his stepdaughter Heather Petrahai (Stephen); his grandchildren, Claire Sandra and Collin Kenneth Petrahai; his brother David Hackett (Fernanda); and his sibling's children, Shelby and Benjamin Hackett.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Adzima Funeral Home (50 Paradise Green Pl, Stratford, CT 06614).
