She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Readyhough, Jr. and Marion Rivera (Borden); and her siblings, James, William Rivera and Elizabeth Lindsay.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Rosaire Genest; her children, John Genest and Michele Ferraro; and her grandchildren, Dante Handel (Abbye) and Christian Handel. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Whitney Farms (175 Shelton Rd, Monroe, CT 06468).
