We are sad to announce that on April 6, 2024, at the age of 86, Thomas Peter Shamaly of Shelton, Connecticut, born in Derby, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Shamaly and Natalie Shamaly (Kado); and his daughter Christine Marie Shamaly. He is survived by : his wife Lila Shamaly (Hewes); his children, MaryFrances Shamaly and Elizabeth Micholovich (Jason); his grandchildren, Laurel Beth Micholovich, Jayce Patrick Micholovich and Thomas Joseph Micholovich; and his brother John Shamaly. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and brothers and sisters-in-laws.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Riverview Funeral Home (390 River Rd, Shelton, CT 06484). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Lawrence Church (505 Shelton Ave, Shelton, CT 06484). A burial was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Mt. St. Peter Cemetery (219 New Haven Ave, Derby, CT 06418).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Thomas' memory to Visiting Angels, 1266 East Main St. Suite 220, Stamford CT 06902 or to Constellation Hospice, 240 Indian River Rd., Orange CT 06477.
