Tony Formato Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 4, 2025, at the age of 78, Tony Formato of Shelton, Connecticut passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Tony Formato to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Giuseppe Formato and Antonia Di Gruttolo Formato; his brother Angelo Formato; and his brother-in-law Lorenzo Cuoco. He is survived by: his wife Linda Amodio Formato; his sons, Joseph Formato (Michelle), Michael Formato (Cynthia) and Anthony Formato (Maggie); his grandchildren, AJ, Stella, Mia, Max, Scarlett and Leo; his siblings, Joseph Formato (Mary Lou), Filomena Cuoco and Anna Alcaraz (Michael); and his sister-in-law Patricia Formato. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home (419 White Plains Rd, Trumbull, CT 06611). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Teamsters JC 10 New England Scholarship Fund at teamstersjointcouncil10.com.
