With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia S. Kozakiewicz of Shelton, Connecticut, born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, who passed away on October 17, 2022 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John J. Kozakiewicz; her parents, Edward Dolyak and Mary Gadzik Dolyak; and her daughters, Karen DelPo (Robert DelPo) and Doreen Kozakiewicz.
She is survived by: her daughter Kim M. Maler (Bruce) of Shelton; her grandchildren, Bruce Maler (Alexandra) of Shelton, Lauren DelPo of East Haven and Stephanie DelPo of Bethany; her great grandchildren, Devin Joseph Ripke and Olivia Julianne Lieder; her sister Dorothy Fontaine of Bridgeport; her brother-in-law William Kozakiewicz of Shelton; and her pet Suzi. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
