He is survived by: his wife Judith Travers (Higgins); his children, Wayne Travers, Jr. (Eileen), Amy Wells (Schuyler) and Loren Beaudoin (John); his grandchildren, Timothy (Erin), Joshua, Sage Bagwell, Cecilia, Gregory, Bryan and Meghan; his great grandchildren, Elijah, Henry, Georgia and Thomas; his sister-in-law Jane Higgins; his niece Katie Denecke (Mark); and his nephew Jim Higgins (Heather).
