We bid farewell to Barbara B. Dallas of Sherman, Connecticut, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 12, 2026 at the age of 97. Barbara touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Barbara may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her husband Kevin Dallas; her parents, John Blake and Isabel Blake; her sister Frances Blake; and her daughter Kathy Dallas.
She is survived by: her daughters, Margaret Valentine (late Charles), Susan Mann (Frank), Anne Vernon (Jerry) and Clare Genn (John). She is also survived by loving eleven grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 17th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Horn & Thomes, INC Funeral Home (83 E Main St, Pawling, NY 12564). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. John's Church (39 E Main St, Pawling, NY 12564-1429).
