Betty Jean Tzenis Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Jean Tzenis of Sherman, Connecticut, who passed away on September 16, 2025. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Betty Jean Tzenis to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cora Lee and Brace Delaughter; and her siblings, Barney, Lloyd, Dan and Annie Pearl.
She is survived by: her husband Michael Tzenis; her children, Donny Delaughter and Evangelia Kim Martin; her son-in-law Thomas Martin; her grandchildren, Zoe and Nicholas Martin; and her pets, Harry and Sammy. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lillis Funeral Home (58 Bridge St, New Milford, CT 06776).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Danbury Regional Hospice or the Sherman Volunteer Fire Department, organizations that were so helpful, supportive, and respectful to Betty and her family.
