He was predeceased by : his parents, Edna Williams Ormiston and John Brown Ormiston. He is survived by : his wife Jacqueline (Jackie); his children, Jayme (Brian Coates), John (Laura Guisto) and Jeffrey (Brandy Noel); his grandchildren, Stella, Brendan, Dominick, Nora and Emmet; and his sister Edna Margaret (Peggy) Coons (Donald Coons).

Julia's Wings Foundation was created in loving memory a Sherman resident to raise awareness of aplastic anemia, financially assist families who are suffering along with their sick children, and fund medical research.
